How to Take VOQUEZNA

Flexibility to take with or without food

VOQUEZNA (vonoprazan) can be taken with or without food, unlike most proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), which means you can take it whenever it‘s most convenient for you, regardless of meals. Remember, you should always take VOQUEZNA as your doctor prescribes.

Your dosing regimen for EE may be divided into 2 separate phases. You may initially be prescribed a dose for the “healing phase” (20 mg once daily) and then may have your dose adjusted by your doctor for the “maintenance phase” (10 mg once daily). If you have any condition that impairs kidney or liver function, your doctor may adjust your dosage.

Take VOQUEZNA as prescribed by your doctor. Pills shown not actual size.

Missed doses

If you miss a dose, take the next as soon as possible—unless 12 hours have passed. If more than 12 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and take your next dose on time.

I was pretty happy finding out about a new way to treat my EE.*
